It all started out with two tape players with some wires joined between them in 1985…

Having grown up with music all around him, it was only natural that Andrew Armati would hit the Decks and begin his journey into the world of music…

Playing with all things electronic from the ripe age of 8, including the greats like the Roland D-50 and Akai AX60, it was clear that this journey was going to be of an electronic nature…

Having computers around from the 100mhz days til today has helped to pave the way towards the sound he is making now. This included working with early programs like Mixman DJ, Virtual Turntables and Pro Tools. Move forward to today, and it’s Virtual DJ, Ableton, Cubase and anything else than can help create a sweet sound.

Also, working with the sweet hardware like the 1200SL turntables in the 90’s to spin his fav Happy Hardcore tunes and then onto the fantastic Pioneer Pro DJ range like CDJ 100’s, DJM 300 mixer & EFX 500.  Now the awesome CDJ 2000’s and some chunky sounding analogue synth’s are where it’s at!

Influences include, Kraftwerk, ELO, Peter Gunn, Dire Straits, DJ’s Brisk & Styles. Quicksilver, Cox and Scooter, Roni Size & Plump DJ’s, Deadmau5, Armin and of course old school Tiesto…

From 1999 Armati began to play at parties and some underground events

All the time working to produce some funky tunes…

Armati’s sound is different to anyone else out there…This makes the mixes interesting “after all anyone can play two tracks together”

This is now time to get it out there and see what you all think…
